Disable Functions: Appearance
The radio buttons on the Appearance pane enable or disable
menu items in the View menu of the session windows
of display emulation sessions and printer emulation sessions.
Functions:
- Toggle Toolbar State
- Shows or hides the Toolbar in a display session window. The toolbar contains
buttons to allow quick access to session functions. Toolbar appears in the
View menu on the session window.
- Toggle Toolbar Text State
- Shows or hides the toolbar text on the buttons. Toggle Status Bar must be
enabled for toolbar text to be displayed. Toolbar Text appears in the View
menu on the session window.
- Toggle Textual OIA State

Shows or hides the Textual OIA. The textual OIA interprets the graphical symbols that are found in the
graphical OIA and displays them as text that a screen reader can interpret and read.
- Toggle Keypad State
- Shows or hides the keypad in the display session window. The keypad displays
the Program Function keys at the bottom of the session window. Keypad appears on the View
menu and the toolbar of the session window.
- Toggle Status Bar State
- Shows or hides the status bar at the bottom of the session window. The Status
Bar displays connection status messages and toolbar button descriptions. Status
Bar appears on the View menu of the session window.
- Quick Connect
- Shows or hides the Quick Connect at View -> Advanced.
- Search Text
- Shows or hides the Search text at View -> Advanced.
- Scratch Pad
- Shows or hides the Scratch Pad at View -> Advanced.
- Screen History
- Shows or hides the Screen History at View -> Advanced.
Settings:
- Enabled

Enables the function for:
-
All users who access the HTML file (HTML-based model); or
-
The currently selected user or group (configuration server-based model and combined model).
The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is added to the user interface of the client.
- Disabled

Disables the function.
The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is removed from the user interface of the client.
- Enable All

Enables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Disable All

Disables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Inherited (Enabled)

This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window
from the Administration Utility,
indicates that the currently selected user or group
(such as User1)
inherits the setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that this setting is enabled in the group.
For example, if you are editing the profile of User1,
and you set Add Sessions to Inherited (Enabled) for User1,
this indicates that User1 inherits the Add Sessions setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that currently the group to which it belongs has Add Sessions set to Enabled.
- Inherited (Disabled)

This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window
from the Administration Utility,
indicates that the currently selected user or group inherits
the setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that this setting is disabled in the group.
- Inherit All

The currently selected user or group inherits all its
settings from the group to which it belongs.
