Drivers

Registering a JDBC driver.
To register an additional driver:

Type a description in the Driver description field
(for example,
IBM DB2 UDB local
).

Type the fully qualified class name of the driver
(for example,
COM.ibm.db2.jdbc.app.DB2Driver
).
Case is significant (for example, COM
is different than com
).
To remove a registered driver:
- In the list of Registered Drivers, select the driver
that you want to remove.
- Click Remove.
To select a JDBC driver in the SQL wizard or the File Upload Wizard:

In the SQL Wizard or the File Upload Wizard:

Click the Logon tab.

Java 1 browsers: Expand the Driver description listbox.
Java 2-enabled browsers: Expand the Driver identifier listbox.

Host On-Demand displays the registered drivers.

Click the registered driver you want to use, or click Other
to use a driver that has not been registered.
