History File Setup

Allows you to specify where and how the history to file is written.

History File Name
The name of the history file.

Browse
Displays the file browse window. Click to select a file that already exists or enter the name of a new file.

If File Exists:

Overwrite

Overwrites the file if the file already exists. A new file is created if it doesn't exist.

Append

Appends to the file if the file already exists. A new file is created if it doesn't exist.

You must have authority to write to the file and the directory it resides in to write to an existing file. You must have authority to write to the directory specified to create a new file if one doesn't exist.

Start
Immediately writes all current history to the file and begins writing all new history to the file.

Cancel
Exits the window without writing the history to file.
