Disable Functions: Others
The radio buttons on the Other pane enable or disable:

Miscellaneous functions
on the File, Edit, View, and Actions menus of display emulation sessions; and
-
The Help menu of all sessions.
Functions:
- Cut/Copy/Paste
- Uses the clipboard functions in a display session. Cut, copy, and paste
appear on the Edit menu of a session window.
Disabling the Cut/Copy/Paste options will also disable all Undo and
Copy as Table functionality.
- Copy as Table
- Copies the selected information as a table, which allows the data to be pasted
into another application, such as a spreadsheet. Copy as Table
appears on the Edit menu of a session window.
- Copy as Image
- The new menu item Copy as Image is added to the edit menu. You can also use the right click menu to copy the screen or part of screen as image.
- Toggle Light Pen Mode
- Switches light pen mode on or off in a 3270 or CICS display session. If
you switch light pen mode on, you can use your mouse as a light pen. Light-pen
mode appears on the View menu of a session window.
- Help
- Provides access to the online help. This disables the session window Help
menu and the Help buttons on all product windows.
- Edit BIDI Options
- Provides bidirectional language support (Arabic and Hebrew). BIDI options
are set on the Language window when configuring a display session.
- Edit Thai Options
- Provides Thai language support. Thai options are set on the Language window
when configuring a display session.
- Run Applet
- Loads and runs a user-defined applet. Run Applet appears on the Action menu
of the session window. Applets will still run if they are
configured to Auto-Start in the session properties window. This option applies
to display sessions only.

- History to File
- Provides the ability to write the
VT history to file. This function is available on VT
sessions only.
- Right Mouse Button
- Provides a session context menu or a popup keypad in a display session.
Settings:

Enables the function for:

All users who access the HTML file (HTML-based model); or
-
The currently selected user or group (configuration server-based model and combined model).
The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is added to the user interface of the client.
- Disabled
-
Disables the function.
The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is removed from the user interface of the client.
- Enable All

Enables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Disable All
-
Disables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Inherited (Enabled)

This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window
from the Administration Utility,
indicates that the currently selected user or group
(such as User1)
inherits the setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that this setting is enabled in the group.
For example, if you are editing the profile of User1,
and you set Add Sessions to Inherited (Enabled) for User1,
this indicates that User1 inherits the Add Sessions setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that currently the group to which it belongs has Add Sessions set to Enabled.
- Inherited (Disabled)

This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window
from the Administration Utility,
indicates that the currently selected user or group inherits
the setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that this setting is disabled in the group.
- Inherit All

The currently selected user or group inherits all its
settings from the group to which it belongs.
