Disable Functions: SQL Statements
The radio buttons on the SQL Statements pane enable or disable
specific types of SQL statements and File Upload statements
in the Host On-Demand client user interface
(for 3270 Display, 5250 Display, and VT Display sessions).
However, these radio buttons cannot be used
to enable or disable types of SQL statements and File Upload statements
in Database On-Demand sessions.
For Database On-Demand sessions, use the controls
in the Database On-Demand Group Options window
or the Database On-Demand User Options window,
accessible from the Administration Utility
(see Database On-Demand Group/User Options).
The following table show the locations in the client user interface
of the radio buttons that select these
types of SQL statements and File Upload statements:

Functions:
- Select (SQL)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create SQL statements with type Select and Select Unique.
(Select Unique is available only if the client is running a Java 1 browser.)
- Insert (SQL)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create SQL statements with type Insert.
- Delete (SQL)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create SQL statements with type Delete.
- Update (SQL)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create SQL statements with type Update.
- Create (Upload)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create File Upload statements with type Create.
- Replace (Upload)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create File Upload statements with type Replace.
- Append (Upload)

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create File Upload statements with type Append.

Allows an Host On-Demand client user to create File Upload statements with type Update.
Settings:
- Enabled

Enables the function for:
-
All users who access the HTML file (HTML-based model); or
-
The currently selected user or group (configuration server-based model and combined model).
The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is added to the user interface of the client.
- Disabled

Disables the function.
The menu item, button, or toolbar icon for this function is removed from the user interface of the client.
- Enable All

Enables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Disable All
-
Disables all the functions listed on the current pane.
- Inherited (Enabled)

This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window
from the Administration Utility,
indicates that the currently selected user or group
(such as User1)
inherits the setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that this setting is enabled in the group.
For example, if you are editing the profile of User1,
and you set Add Sessions to Inherited (Enabled) for User1,
this indicates that User1 inherits the Add Sessions setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that currently the group to which it belongs has Add Sessions set to Enabled.
- Inherited (Disabled)

This setting, which is available only when you open the Disable Functions window
from the Administration Utility,
indicates that the currently selected user or group inherits
the setting of the group to which it belongs,
and that this setting is disabled in the group.
- Inherit All

The currently selected user or group inherits all its
settings from the group to which it belongs.
